I moved to Texas in late 2014 from Tennessee, (my case settled in February of 2015) my attorney in TN had managed to get my case back on the docket, after I was sabotaged by a disgruntled friend who stole my mail which had the announcement for my hearing in it and so I missed my 1st hearing because of this I then decided I needed an attorney in TN, then circumstances forced me to move in with family in Texas so I began looking for a Texas attorney, at the time Gerry was in practice with Ms. Ward, and they had an ad in the phone book a big ad it grabbed my attention. I called and the office staff was amazing and they told me that the attorneys were very busy and that because of the compressed timeline that Gerry would want to file for an extension to properly prepare, totally understandable considering my move, the change of venue to Texas, the need for a new attorney, so I wasn’t the least bit upset. I faxed the necessary documents back to his office and was told it would take him a few days to review and then he would call me to tell me if they decided to move forward, with my case, less than 24 hours later Gerry called me to say “you have good case, we don’t need an extension, I will move some items around on my calendar, and we will meet in person the morning of the hearing and considering who we’ve drawn as our judge I think you have nothing to worry about” The hearing day arrived Gerry took me into a consultation room explained the process, told me to relax and away we went. The hearing went fast, and the next thing I know, he is shaking my hand, and I once again had the dignity deserved of a human being. Thanks again Gerry, Vincent
